This is the abbreviation for Droit Individuel à la Formation (Personal Right to Training).
DIF exists so that every person can develop his skills. This system therefore offers you the option of collecting 20 hours every year, with a ceiling of 120 hours at the end of 6 years. You can then ask your employer to take up a training course.
With DIF, you do the training in your free time while your employer pays for your training.
Several training courses are eligible to be taken under DIF, contact your employer for more information.
But it should be clear that the employer is not obligated to accept your request for DIF. Personal Right must be understood as the right of each person to train self and to enhance his skills and his know-how, and not an obligation on part of the employer.
